Code: M3 - Regency Eagle Convex Mirror

A Regency style carved gilt-wood convex looking glass with ebonised inner slip and ball decorated moulded frame. The ebonised eagle cresting sits upon a tapered and reeded plinth flanked bv scrolling acanthus leaves and with a leaf carved apron.

The eagle has been a symbol of power since ancient times; it was used as the standard of the Roman legions, It has also been adopted as the armorial bearings of numerous nations including The United States of America.
